It will be official today as the University of North Carolina mens’ basketball coach Roy Williams enters the Dr. Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame.  Ol’ Roy was an assistant coach at Carolina under the great Dean Smith before the University of Kansas took a chance and hired him. He compiled an impeccable winning record at Kansas before coming back home to coach my beloved Heels.  After leading the Jayhawks to four final four he finally one the big one as a Tarheel in 2005 with a team I dubbed as “The Champs”.
