Matt Lewis at Townhall.com has a list of possible VP’s for Hillary. (here) His list includes Evan Bayh (former Indiana governor), Mark Warner (former Virginia governor), Bill Richardson (Hispanic governor New Mexico) and Barack Obama just to name a few.

As much as most of my fellow brothers and sisters I’ve talk to would like to see an Hillary/Obama ticket, it won’t happen.  Why? because Hillary has 90 percent of the black vote locked up so what does Barack Obama bring to the table (the muslim vote?) She doesn’t need him.  Since her husband was the 1st black President all she has to do is dispatch him to black neighborhoods and churches to secure her loyal base. Although Hillary claims to admire Fredrick Douglass she will not think twice about adding an African American to the ticket like Victoria Claflin Woodhall  did when she was the first woman to run for President of the United States with Fredrick Douglass as her VP

She needs the Hispanic (legal and illegal) vote more than the black vote.  Bill Richardson is possible chose with the the Mayor of Los Angeles a dark horse (pardon the pun) but his infidelities might be a liability.

The southern and bible belt vote is out of the picture but Mark Warner and Evan Bayh will make a good choice. Even the current Governor of Maryland (or as I call him the failed mayor of Baltimore who was promoted) is probably on the list.  We all know that he wants that VP job just by the way he sucks up to the Clintons.

Wesley Clark name has been put out there, she does need military credibility because National Defense will be one of the major issues for 2008.  The former General is no Ike.

If she wants to go that route with a retired military officers then the ideal ones would be retired four star general Anthony Zini or Major General John Batiste, both vocal critics of the war.

No matter who she picks ………  It won’t be a black person.

My Skins got their rear ends handed to them.  The major complaint was that the Patriots ran up the score.  As much as we want to make football a gentlemen sport, to be quite frank….It is not.  I knew the Patriots were awesome and any sane person would have picked them to destroy the Skins. Call me crazy all you want,  my loyalty is to my team and I expect them to win every week, just any other fan should with their team.  Those guys get paid real well to win.  As Vince Lombardi once said “Winning isn’t everything; its the only thing”

I  am troubled by complaints  that the Patriots ran the score up,  If the Skins didn’t like it they should have stop it.  Save the embarrassment and do something about it.

Pride matters!
