I don’t think the Destiny’s Child was singing about that boogie, woogie, bugle boy from company B in their song Soldier. With lyrics like
If his status ain't hood
I ain't checkin' for him
Betta be street if he lookin' at me
I need a soldier
That ain't scared to stand up for me
Known to carry big things
If you know what I mean
If his status ain't hood
I ain't checkin' for him
Betta be street if he looking at me
I need a soldier
That ain't scared to stand up for me
Gotta know to get dough
And he betta be street
Ole Sarge was wondering if they really need a thug instead of a Soldier. Seems like it to me. Plus with all these soldiers in the hood, Ole Sarge was wondering. Why are we having recruiting pitfalls in the Army. Apparently Destiny Child isn’t.

Our country's greatest generation were bless to have the Andrews Sister serenade the Service men during WWII with songs like ''Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy,'' and ''Don't Sit Under the Apple Tree''
In this day and age Destiny’s child would rather be hood than HOOOAH.
This is coming from a true soldier…..
