COLUMBIA, S.C. - President Bush said Monday that proposals to raise the retirement age for Social Security benefits and restructuring benefits to be more generous to low-income workers are among possibilities for overhauling the country's largest entitlement program.

Ole Sarge ain’t working until he is 70.  The only thing Ole Sarge will be working on is his 5 and 7 iron golf swing while smoking a Monte Cristo.  My cut off age is 55 or maybe 57.

The first place Nats (I know it is early but so what) recently finished a 3 game sweep over the Arizona Diamondbacks (Hey the Diamondbacks beat the Yanks in the World Series a few weeks back).  The excitement of Baseball back in DC after over 30 years, put a smile on Ole Sarge’s face.  Well up until I had to ride a crowded Metro on open night.  (Now Ole Sarge knows how a sardine feels)  Some people (liberal mind you) asked Ole Sarge did he attend the opening day game since my boy Bush was there.  Hell naw I didn't go.  You think Airport security is sucks.  Try going to an event where the Commander in Chief is attending. You better get there early and bring a lunch.. Hmmm never-mind the lunch because it just might get confiscated.

From the Washingtonpost.com

One year after winning 25 games, two years after Michael Jordan drove his black Mercedes out of MCI Center for the last time and about eight years after Chris Webber and Juwan Howard teased the populace with the promise of false hope, Washington is back in the playoffs. The Wizards have withstood a season filled with injuries and a late-season five-game slide to reach a plateau that the District hasn't seen since the team was known as the Bullets.

What more can I say about the Wizards. Those boys are ballin in DC.  Led by the most prolific scoring trio this side of the beltway. The Wizards will make a splash in the payoffs. Bold predictions anyone?

 Update:

Still no naming rights for RFK Stadium. So “Ole Sarge Stadium @RFK”  is still on the table the problem is Ole Sarge doesn’t have the money. A meager soldier’s pay just wont cut it. Now if only I knew where Bin Laden was. That will be more than enough to cover the fee for the naming rights.
